Anyone have a child with Autism?
I have 1 child who has autism. He will be turning 10 this year. He's not severely autistic, more borderline. But we have issues with keeping his attention and other issues associated with his condition.
Just interested to hear from other parents who have children with autism and what some of the issues you face with your child's autism.
Also I have started a group in Yahoo for parents, family & friends of children with Autism.

My son, is very gifted when it comes to his school work, and is very smart. One area that he is lacking in is social skills, and also keeping his attention like I had mentioned before.
My daughter has autism. She is 7. Her problems are prro speech, severe hyperphagia, PICA, repetition, ADHD. She is a mild to moderate severity of it. She is friendly unlike most autistic people and she is very sweet. We recently started her on medication to help her with behaviors because the sggestions weren't working for her. Some of it is helping and some of it isn't, but we will get through it eventually.
