The Rivercrest Neighborhood in Austin, Texas, is a gated waterfront community nestled in the heart of West Lake Hills. The neighborhood is located on the shores of Lake Austin and is known as one of the most exclusive and secluded neighborhoods in the city. Established in the 1960s, it's been growing ever since. Its sister development, Davenport Ranch, is just a stone's throw away across Loop 360, while downtown Austin is just 12 miles away.

The neighborhood's main road, Rivercrest Drive, runs parallel to the lake. Many homes sit along this road – some along the waterfront and others across the street with their backyards to the water. The exclusive community boasts spacious homes ranging from 2,000 to more than 6,000 square feet.

For grocery needs, H.E.B. and Randall's Food and Drug are both less than four miles away. The Barton Creek Square Mall is eight miles away and can be easily reached from Capital of Texas Highway. The mall offers a food court, large movie theater, and many popular retail venues such as Dillard's, Macy's, American Eagle, and The Limited.

Recreation lovers will delight in the many opportunities available within a few miles of the neighborhood. The Wild Basin Wilderness Preserve is three miles away and boasts acres of grassland and streamside habitats where you can find native Texas plants, and several native animals and birds. Emma Long Metropolitan Park is another popular spot just across Lake Austin. The park boasts picnic areas, a basketball and volleyball court, and 12 miles of trails that wind through the area.
